Kent County saw new listings rise 4.1% and under contract activity increase 2.1% in August, while closed sales were down 8.5% year over year. The median sales price climbed 4.7% to $365,000, with the average sales price also up 7.7%.
Sussex County, DE
Sussex County saw under contract activity increase 7.0% in August, while new listings remained nearly even with last year. Closed sales declined 4.9% and the median sales price edged down 1.1% to $435,000, with homes averaging 75 days on the market.
Southern Chester County, PA
Southern Chester County posted an 18.5% increase in closed sales and a 6.1% rise in new listings compared to last August. The median sales price eased 5.8% to $602,800 for the month, although the year-to-date median remained 1.4% ahead of last year at $602,500.
